Italian Country Home and Kitchen

Antique furniture

Antiques range from as early as the 1600’s to the end of the 1800’s.  Pieces tend to be casual mostly sourced from the Lombardian countryside.   Many pieces are of softwoods and elegantly display their history through wonderful wood tones and graceful wear and tear.  Restoration is kept to an absolute minimum to preserve the originality of the pieces.

Other furniture

Sofas, armchairs, loveseats, and dining chairs with cushions are from Busatti in Tuscany.  They are traditionally made furniture with beautiful 60% linen/40% cotton fabrics.  Frances Mayes in her book "Under the Tuscan Sun raves" about their fabrics and furniture and now furnishes her home in Tuscany with these pieces.  Busatti also supplies the British Royal family with many of their linens.  The family founded their business in 1842.
